TESTIMONY – François*, 17, has just returned from the war zones in Kasai. He was one of the 500 registered cases of children used as combatants in the ongoing fighting which started in Dibaya, one of the Province’s territories.

GUEST BLOGGER – For years in Tanganyika, an intercommunity conflict divides pygmees and bantus. The women and children are the first victims of the clashes. Even more: hundreds of children find themselves on the front lines of the self-defense groups.
PROTECTION – The Lualaba provincial authorities in former Katanga province call on women and children to leave the quarries and mines. This appeal was made at the end of 2016 and is part of the struggle to mobilise those concerned since no viable alternative is made available to them.
