EVERYONE MUST HAVE A GOOD NUTRITION
Good nutrition is a valuable asset : well nourished children are more likely to be healthy, to be productive and able to learn. Everyone should benefit from good nutrition : families and their communities.
Applying the same logic , malnutrition is devastating . It plays a role in more than one third of child deaths occurring in developing countries. It weakens the intellectual capacity , limits the productivity of those who are victims and perpetuates poverty .
ENFORCE THE LAW FOR EACH CHILD NUTRITION
Proper nutrition ensures the child a good start in life. UNICEF since its inception, has developed nutrition programs in order to ensure that the right of every child to proper nutrition is respected.
In collaboration with its partners , UNICEF has adopted the approach of life cycle , creating and strengthening integrated interventions to maximize their effectiveness , for example by combining vitamin A with other accelerated interventions in favor of child survival.
